Procedures for Transferring a Firearm (Inbound):

After purchasing the firearm online the seller will need a copy of my Federal Firearms License (FFL).

Firearms that are shipped to the incorrect address will not be picked up from the post office. Please make sure your seller uses the Mailing Address on our FFL.

Forward this file to your seller so they can immediately ship your firearm or If you prefer you can Contact me at 732-547-1243 / E-mail Steve@monmoutharms.com with your seller’s information (name, phone number, e-mail) along with the type of firearm / order #’s and i will handle the rest.

After your firearm arrives at my location I will visually inspect your firearm as soon as it arrives to insure it meets all Federal and State laws, Once complete i will begin the transfer process. Firearms will be available for pickup on the next business after it arrives at my location.

Shipments from FFL’s require the seller to include a copy of their Federal Firearms License (FFL) and buyers contact info.

Shipments from private individuals require the seller to include a copy of their valid Drivers License or State Issues ID along with the buyers contact info. Shipments that do not include ID’s will be returned to the seller.

Please be aware that all firearm shipments go to our ATF approved mailing address listed below.

Transfer Process

If you do not have your FID or Pistol Permit do not order a firearm to our location.   We are only accepting firearm transfers for immediate pickup.

To transfer a firearm into your custody it requires a small amount of paperwork and a background check (NJ Nics) for each firearm.

Once you have confirmed that your firearm has arrived at our location (Confirmation would be Tracking showing it delivered or confirmation from us directly) you can request an appointment to pick up your firearm by Clicking Here.

When you arrive to pick up your new firearm you will need the following information:

  1. Valid NJ Firearms ID Card
  2. Valid Government issued photo ID (drivers license)
  3. If you purchased a Handgun we will need your Handgun Permit
    ( That State of New Jersey has a 1 Handgun per 30 days rule, If you purchased multiple handguns please bring your NJ exemption. If you do not have this form i will be happy to store your handguns for you and release them each 30 days)
  4. If you are NOT a United States citizen you will need your INS Identification and Hunting Permit (If Required by Federal Law)

* Multiple transfer discount applies to items transferred during a single transaction on the same day.

Procedures for Transferring a Firearm (Outbound):

Due to the increase in firearm sales and Inbound Transfers…. We are not processing outbound transfers at this time.

 

Transfers That Require Magazine Modification or compliance work.

We reserve the right to decide which magazines we will or will not modify. Contact us prior to purchase to to verify your magazines are modifiable. We do not ship magazines out of state.
